Clearing Out All the Clutter
One Room Challenge, Week 2
So we are in Week 2 of the One Room Challenge! Doug and I are back to work this week, so we have to be weekend warriors on this project! We have cleaned out the room and that was no small task. It took me hours and days to get this room cleared out and figure out where I could house the furniture, photo albums, luggage, clothes, etc. while we are working on this project.
We still have a few decisions that need to be made. I’m going to try to stay as true as I can to my mood board, but we must remember, it’s a mood board and in the end, I may change my mind. I can do that. It’s my prerogative! 😂
On Friday, we are going to see the horse races at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky. My husband is from Kentucky and he’s never seen a live horse race. (neither have I) It’s on his bucket list, so we are going to go while we are on spring break. This is one of the fun things we have planned during our staycation this week. We do not have many days to work on the office.
We have ordered the Murphy Bed kit from @createabed. I’ve decided to change my plan slightly and do the painting first. I think it will be easier to do that first and then start building the bed. We just ordered the kit so that will give it time to come in.
